Constellations H20 Edition: Artistic Reflections Driving Awareness and Action on the Global Water Crisis
BALI, December 14, 2024 – The transformative art exhibition Constellations H20 successfully launched on December 14, 2024, at Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ) as part of the Tri Hita Karana Universal Reflection Journey. Inspired by the successful 10th World Water Forum in Bali in May 2024, Constellations H20 explores global water challenges through art to raise awareness and encourage meaningful action.
Constellations H20 sheds light on critical water issues such as scarcity, rising sea levels, and pollution. Curated by Lance Fung, the exhibition features work by 12 visionary artists from various countries and island communities, including Mariam Alnoaimi (Bahrain), Ragnar Axelsson (Iceland), Carlos Esteves (Cuba), David Gumbs (Martinique), Katie Holton (Ireland), Sid Natividad (Philippines), Donna Ong (Singapore), Gayan Prageeth (Sri Lanka), Alexis Rockman (USA), Abigail Romanchak (Hawaii), Citra Sasmita (Bali, Indonesia), and
Michel Tuery (New Zealand). Each work presents profound and personal narratives, inspiring global reflection and tangible action for sustainability.
Curator Lance Fung stated, “Through Constellations: H2O, each artist oers a deeply personal perspective on the urgent need for global cooperation and policy changes to address critical issues such as environmental justice, sea level rise, ocean plastic pollution, and the essential return to humanity and empathy. This exhibition seeks to
