Digital Street Art

Digital Street Art was made possible thanks to the 2017 national street art award from Paris.
David Gumbs is one of the awardee for the island of martinique and the only selected for Sint-Martin.

Digital Street Art was presenting in Marigot Saint-Martin right after the island’s devastation by Cat5 hurricane Irma in 2017.
The public gathering was a symbol of hope and resilience. This interactive videomapping also celebrates the renewal of life, and the blossoming seasons of tropical tapestry. The aim was to unite families of all ages and gender around this playfull interactive piece. And allowing them to use the Church as a symbol of togetherness. Allowing them to enjoy a moment away from the trauma and the weight of losing everything.
