Géographies résilientes

This residency was an opportunity to explore the resilience of the body through a series of research projects combining visual arts, dance, and digital creation with dancer Namiko Gahier-Ogawa. The aim was to approach the body as a geography of perception—one that rises and emancipates itself in the face of life’s challenges. Artistically, we explored the interpretation of the mental image of inner struggle and self-transcendence. A fitting metaphor for this could be the devastating consequences of major natural disasters, such as powerful hurricanes.
